Is it really free?
Yes. Core bill splitting is free forever. Bayarsama Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks unlimited friends and groups, full order history, receipt attachments, and clean PDF exports without watermarks.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email required. Open the app and start splitting.
Where is my data stored?
On your device only. Orders, friends, payment profiles, and receipt photos all live on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Does it work outside Malaysia?
Yes — 13 currencies with localised payment methods including DuitNow, PayNow, PromptPay, QRIS, VietQR, UPI, IBAN, and bank transfer fields for the rest.
Do my friends need to install Bayarsama too?
No. Only the bill organiser needs the app. Friends just receive the breakdown as a WhatsApp message or PDF and view it like any normal text or document — no download required on their end.
Is there an Android version?
Bayarsama is only available on iOS for now. Our current focus is improving the experience for existing users. If you'd like an Android version, email [email protected] — once we see enough requests, we'll prioritise building it.
